I believe that all children can learn and should have the opportunity to learn in a way that is most effective for them. My aims in teaching are to differentiate instruction in order to attend to the needs of different learners and keep instruction interesting. I use hands-on methods whenever possible and integrate music, visual aids, auditory aids, and group work. I pay attention to students' individual interests and try to make the content meaningful and relevant to students.

I believe that students have the right to learn in a safe and comfortable environment. I promote a community atmosphere within the classroom and am sensitive to students' emotions.
